2024 Military Appreciation Month Discounts

Service members and families are being honored during Military Appreciation Month with a variety of discounts in 2024. Below are some highlighted offerings.

2024 Military Appreciation Month Discounts

Academy Sports + Outdoors

From April 28 to July 6, active-duty military and veterans get 10% off your entire purchase online or in-store.

Blue Star Museums

Blue Star Museums is a collaboration among the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and museums across America to offer free admission to the nation’s active-duty military personnel, including the National Guard and Reserves, and their families. The 2024 Blue Star Museums program begins on Armed Forces Day (May 18) and ends on Labor Day (September 2).

Busch Gardens

Busch Gardens is providing free one-day admission for U.S. military veterans and up to three guests to its parks. Veterans can redeem their complimentary single-day ticket(s) online at www.WavesofHonor.com through May 12, 2024 and have until July 7, 2024 to visit the parks with their free tickets.

Cincinnati Zoo

Active and retired military receive free admission on Memorial Day. The offer also allows military personnel to purchase up to six discounted admission tickets for members of their immediate family.

Colonial Williamsburg

On either Memorial Day weekend or Veterans Day weekend, Colonial Williamsburg offers complimentary admission once annually for active-duty military, Reservists, National Guard personnel, retired military and veterans and up to three direct dependents.

Mission BBQ

Veterans and active-duty military get a free sandwich the week of May 13. (Dates vary by service branch.)

Rack Room Shoes

Rack Room Shoes offers a 20% discount off your entire purchase in stores on Memorial Day to anyone with a military ID.

SeaWorld

SeaWorld parks will honor Military Appreciation Month with free one-day admission for U.S. military veterans and up to three guests. Veterans can register for this offer through May 12, 2024 and have until July 7, 2024 to visit the parks with their free tickets. 

Sleep Number

Sleep Number is offering exclusive military discounts, including an extra 5% to 10% on most Sleep Number smart beds and bases through June 2.

Walgreens

Walgreens offers veterans, service members and their families 20% off eligible regular price items with myWalgreens in store only May 24 through 27.

AARP

AARP offers up to 43% off membership for veterans and military members. 

Bear Mattress

Bear Mattress is offering a 40% discount sitewide to the military community with online verification, May 2 through May 29. The discount is eligible for all online orders and cannot be combined with any additional promotional codes or applied to gift card purchases.

California’s Great America

Active-duty military, National Guard, Reserves, and veterans receive a free ticket to California’s Great America valid for a single day May 26 through 29. Military members also save up to $35 online when purchasing tickets for up to six friends or family members. 

Carowinds

Active-duty military, National Guard, Reserves, and veterans receive a free ticket to Carowinds valid for a single day May 26 through 29. In addition, military members can save up to $35 online when purchasing tickets for up to six friends or family members.

Cedar Point

Cedar Point offers a free ticket to active-duty military, National Guard, reserves, and veterans for a single day May 26 through May 29. Plus, military members can save up to $40 online when purchasing tickets for up to six friends or family members.

Discount Tire

Discount Tire is proud to honor and thank active duty members, military veterans and reserves with a 5% discount. 

Dorney Park

Dorney Park offers active-duty military, National Guard, reserves, and veterans a free ticket valid for a single day May 26 through 29. In addition, military members save up to $40 online when purchasing tickets for up to six friends or family members. 

ESET

Active duty military and veterans can enjoy a 25% discount off ESET consumer products. 

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is honoring active military and veterans by treating them to a free lunch or dinner entree with the purchase of an entree on May 29.

Fogo De Chão

On Memorial Day, May 29, Fogo De Chão is offering 50% off food for veterans and active-duty personnel and 10% off food for up to three guests.

Hersheypark

Hersheypark offers active-duty and retired military members two one-day tickets with free parking for only $79.99 ($195 value) May 5 through 21.

Indianapolis Zoo

Current and former members of the military are admitted free on Memorial Day.

Kings Dominion

Active-duty military, National Guard, Reserves, and veterans, get a free ticket to Kings Dominion valid for a single day May 26 through 29. Military members can also save up to $35 online when purchasing tickets for up to six friends or family members.

Kings Island

Active-duty military, National Guard, reserves, and veterans get a free ticket to Kings Island valid for a single day May 26 through 29. And military members save up to $45 online when purchasing tickets for up to six friends or family members.

LaMar’s Donuts

Active-duty military and veterans get a free donut and small coffee at participating locations on Memorial Day, May 29.

LEGOLAND Discovery Center Westchester

During the month of May, active-duty military, Reservists and veterans get free entry plus 50% off for their friends and family (up to four guests). This offer is valid online or at admissions. Please note, the discount is available at this location only.

Magic Springs Theme and Water Park

Magic Springs is saluting members of the military with free admission May 27 through June 11. Bring your military ID to any ticket window. Family members receive $36.99 admission when accompanied by a military member.

Michigan’s Adventure

Active-duty military, National Guard, reserves, and veterans get a free ticket for a single day May 26 through 29. They can also save up to $30 online when purchasing tickets for up to six friends or family members.

Navy Federal Credit Union

Navy Federal Credit Union is celebrating Military Appreciation Month with special offers for its members. Military personnel and veterans with ID receive free admission to Silverwood Theme Park on May 27, 28 and 29. Their immediate family members (spouse and children) also receive a special discounted rate when purchasing tickets at Silverwood’s front gate.

Splashway Waterpark and Campground

Active-duty military, veterans, and their immediate family members (spouse and children) can purchase discounted tickets at the gate with their valid ID on Memorial Day.

Sun Splash Family Waterpark

Active and retired military members with ID receive one free admission ticket May 27 through 29.

UFC GYM

For Military Appreciation Month, UFC GYM is offering active-duty and retired military personnel a complimentary 30-day training period. Active-duty military may choose to redeem a seven-day Recovery pass as an alternative to the training period. Service members may redeem the offers at select UFC GYM and UFC FIT locations across the country from May 1 through May 31.

Valleyfair

All active-duty military, National Guard, reserves, and veterans receive a free ticket for a single day May 26 through 29, as well as a savings of up to $30 online when purchasing tickets for up to six friends or family members.

Through Willow’s Preferred Pricing Program, the 3.0 pump is 20% off for military personnel during the entire month of May.
